This is where it all began for Delica, with asparagus out of Australia. Our Melbourne branch is still one of the largest exporters of asparagus and citrus in Australia, mostly due to close grower/customer relationships and going the extra mile.

BRENT LAWSON

Brent grew up in Central Otago then left NZ after university. The produce industry is in his blood after growing up on a cherry/stonefruit orchard, and has been with Delica since 2001. He is married with a seven month old baby. Brent is a lover of all things sports-related and remains a loyal supporter of NZ teams despite his ten years living in Australia.

MURRAY McCALLUM
Director, Delica Australia & Delica PTY
Murray founded Delica in Australia in 1994. Joined with Anton Masutti to form Delica NZ Ltd in 1997. Grew the company and staff to become Australasia’s largest diversified fruit and vegetable exporter. Murray and Anton sold their shares in Delica in 2007 to Turners & Growers. Murray continues with Delica in a new projects role.

Brian joined Delica Australia in 2007, but has been in the export horticultural trade exclusively in Australia for 32 years. As such he has experienced the highs and lows of providing a world class product and service, despite dealing with a high cost sourcing base.
